PRESERVING THE ENVIRONMENT

Searles Valley Minerals continually advances its environmental protection programs. Our environmental engineers work with geologists and response specialists to create programs specific to conditions at Searles Lake.

Searles Valley Minerals returns the brine streams to the lake in accord with California Regional Quality Control Board and Bureau of Land Management policies. Through this process of continual renewal, the liquid table remains constant. All production and maintenance teams participate in monitoring the use and proper disposal of machine oil and other non-product chemicals to prevent environmental contamination.
